Job Description
- Receipt of goods into the main warehouse, stocking and stacking these in efficient manner and subsequent dispatch to dealers and showrooms in a timely manner.
- Inspecting the goods arrived from the port and preparing the Good Receipt Note.
- Preparing and reporting short shipment and damages on the port.
- Checking the goods at the time of receipt, stacking and storing the goods at the assigned places in a proper manner.
- Preparing dispatch notes for all items issued from the warehouse.
- Updating the subsidiary stock records for receipt and issue of goods.
- Arranging/coordinating with the transporter for the availability of appropriate vehicles for deliveries of goods to Regional Warehouse.
- Preparing weekly report of pending deliveries.
- Preparing monthly report of damaged goods.
- Maintaining and keeping warehouse equipment in proper working condition.
- Verifying the transporter invoice with the actual services rendered during the month.
- Performing monthly physical stock check of selected items and reporting the results to Inventory Controller, and Financial Controller.
- Ensuring the proper security of goods at warehouse during the working hours and after office hours.
- Monitoring the stocks at proper locations, stacking the items as per the standard instructions.

- Proven analytical and warehouse management skills.
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to implement training.
- Ability to manage large groups of people.
- Computer skills, including internet navigation, and various office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, and establish harmonious and effective working relationships both within and outside the organization
