Job Description
Work under the supervision of Engineering Manager and Design Team Leader.
Supervise the activities of the draftsmen assigned to CADD section.
Assign drafting jobs and distribute work.
Monitor drafting and assess the production of architectural and civil drawings.
Estimate man-hours and consumption time for drawings at early stage of projects.
Control overtime within budget limits.
Establish a digital filing system.
Create/Maintain applications of CADD Standard Manual.
Apply new technical procedures systems e.g. X-REF, Attributes, and any other new engineering technolgies related to CADD, to avoid errors between different disciplines and reduce the time consupmtion for drawings.
Create and implement standard library for typical details and assure quality control.
Prepare drawings/CADD progress charts and reports when required.
Link drawings with database to increase end product precision.
Take responsibility for personnel management.
Personally assist CADD production as circumstances dictate e.g. unusual problems, shortage of manpower, short deadlines, etc.
Maintain the computer network system in the section in full relation.coordination with the department.
Other dusties as assigned.
