Quantity Surveyor

1.     Operations Management

·          Allocate work on site to subordinates

·          Monitor all plans and specifications in drawings

·          Prepare Purchase requests

·          Prepare Manpower schedules, activity overlap to meet milestones

·          Prepare inspection requests

·          Prepare Daily and weekly progress reports

·          Review plans and shop drawings

·          Review all SSRV’s

·          Follow up material delivery

·          Follow up quality testing with QC Department

·          Control material waste on site

2.     Policies, Processes, and Procedures

·          Follow all relevant Construction department’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

·          Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

·          Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within Nesma and Partners

3.     Safety, Health, and Environment

·          Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

·          Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls

·          Report on changes within Nesma and Partners that impact relevant safety, health and environment all management policies, procedures and controls
