Job Description
-
Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas to apply quality standards.

Selects works for tests at specified stages as identified in the ITP and records tests data applying statistical quality control procedures.

Records test data, applying QA/QC general and specific procedures.

Deals directly with the superintendent and the subcontractors to verify that works are carried out as per drawings, material submittals and project specifications.

Ensures that deficiencies are rectified before work finalization and notifies the superintendent of any deficient works.

Ensures that all aspects of quality control in relation to contract documents are identified and observed.

Performing QC inspection and testing of industrial project materials, equipment, systems and facilities under construction and Pre-Commissioning.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the 2015 version of ISO 9001 QMS requirements, engineering discipline drawings, standards, material specifications, construction methods and QC inspection and test procedures.

Currently certified to SAEP-316 level II by (1) NACE as CIP, or (2) SSPC as PCI, or (3) TWI CL as BGAS-CSWIP.

Training, direct work experience and demonstrated thorough working knowledge of coating materials, application methods, quality activities and recognized engineering codes and standards required for the work, such as ASTM, ISO, NACE SPs and SSPC SPs.
