FINANCIAL MODELING SPECIALIST

Responsible for preparing preliminary financial models and calculations required for the projects and will provide all information in excel format for development of detailed project financial model.

Plans, coordinates and supervises the PPP Project(s) business, commercial and financial activities by contacting financial institutions and capability to raise sufficient funds for the project.

Ensure the accuracy of the new models while enhancing the quality of the existing models.

Familiar with all banking activities and requirements with analysis skills to identify best financing scheme etc. it also includes accounting activities of the PPP Project(s) and management information services. It also includes ensuring efficient and accurate accounting, planning and control of all the PPP Project(s) financial matters.

Performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authority at the Section level as established by management.

Manage all financial institutions working with the Company regarding the Project(s) financial and commercial activities including obtaining quotes, offer analysis, negotiation, reporting and recommendations for Project(s) financing options.

Manage the PPP Project(s) financial planning and control. Includes determining requirements and sources of revenue, both short and long terms, ensuring the proper management and control such as the investment of excess liquidity, adherence to long term operational goals and the development of various options for financing.

Set the PPP Project(s) annual budgets and long-range plans to meet the Project(s) objectives from the Tendering and Bidding stage to the Financial Close Stage and beyond as required, Includes setting up budget guidelines and data preparation procedures, preparing draft budgets and ensuring the maintenance of approved budgets.

Issue various management reports including information on subjects such as productivity, profitability, feasibility, and cost control.

Carries out other relative duties as assigned such as conducting special assignments as requested, monitoring income and ZAKAT tax requirements of the Project(s), maintaining good relations with Banks and financial institutions, etc.

Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials for all donor subsidiaries, and oversee all financial, project/program and accounting process.

Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.

Administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior management abreast of the organization’s financial status.

Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.

Manage all banking relationships.

MBA in Finance will be required with additional qualification CA/CMA or ACCA

Experience in the commercial & and structuring aspects of large PPP transactions, preferably in Water, Power and Civil Infrastructure project

5+ years or more related experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in MS Office or similar software, build financial models in excel based on historical information and other available industry-specific operating metrics.

Analytical ability with excellent presentation skills.

Relationship-building and influencing skills.

MBA in Finance will be required with additional qualification CA/CMA or ACCA
