Job Description
- Safety engineer develops policies to ensure safety of an environment, its customers and employees. He inspects equipment, environments and buildings to identify areas that can potentially cause health and safety hazards.
- Safety engineer also investigates accidents and injuries, then recommend improvements to safety policies and programs.
- Identify and measure potential safety hazards in the workplace.
- Assist in development and coordination of project specific safety program.
- Oversee and ensure the safety of employees, subcontractors and general public.
- Develop, coordinate and implement overall project specific safety programs.
- Report project specific safety performance and future plans.
- Coordinate safety training activities on the project.
