Construction Manager - Industrial

Supervise all project engineers in order to give a clear picture of their daily tasks

Convey to engineers as well as project manager all scheduled works and targets

Act as a link between people on site and higher management

Monitor all site progress

Monitor the procurement schedule

Develop and manage the team of subordinates

Evaluate all subordinates and suggest needed improvements

Maintain the sequence of work schedule

Recommend improvements to Construction Department’s policies, and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results

Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Monitor day to day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures

Ensure Compliance with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across activities in order to guarantee safety, legislative compliance and responsible environmental behaviors

Report on incident and accident occurrences to concerned parties in order to address current and mitigate future risks

Monitor changes to legislation and Nesma and Partners’ activities, and ensure such changes are covered within all relevant safety, health, and environmental management policies, procedures and controls

Manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures

Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team and provide feedback on performance
