Job Description
- Clear goods through customs within agreed timeframes, ensuring no extra demurrage (storage) charges on shipment
- Submit relevant documents to customs officials
- Attend shipment inspection appointment and ensure shipment is correct
- Follow up with customs for every step of the clearance process
- Provide periodic updates of shipment status to clearance manager
- Contribute to develping an effective culture at the organization, upholding company values and staff morale
