- Provide work direction and coordinate the schedules and activities of warehouse workers
- Monitor employee attendance
- Coordinate work jobs with main office and clients
- Produce periodic statistical reports
- Provide daily status updates to main office of inbound and outbound shipments
- Keep records of stock
- Prepare inventory reports
- Issue items requested by client
- Oversee the repacking, marking and labeling of export shipment
- Distribute diesel and trip money to drivers and packers
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
- Oversee the planned maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt and dispatch of shipments
- Oversee, plan, and coordinate the loading, unloading, organizing and storage of shipments
- Ensure the efficient utilization of space
- Organize special requirements needed for certain stock
- Contribute to developing an effective culture at the organization, upholding company values and staff morale
