Supervisor Insurance & Claims

Short Description: Responsible for reviewing a claim in order to determine whether or not they are covered under a policy and to evaluate the extent of a settlement that the insurance company must pay.

• Prepare the required data and reports from Insurance to ensure providing accurate and reliable information.
• Assist in claims management and Identify and analyze risks associated with policies.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant insurance policies/ both externally and internally through the Insurance Pool and bring to the attention of the Team Manager any problems encountered in providing adequate cover.
• Maintain careful up-to-date records of all relevant insurable assets.
• Ensure information for renewals and declarations of externally insured policies collected and reported within timescales.
• Managing the operations and productivity on daily basis with the insurance companies.
• Assist the employees in claims management process.
• Meeting and establishing business relations with insurance companies.
• Monitoring company performance against SLA (Service Level Agreements) and flagging potential issues.
• Manage and Monitor Loss Ratio during the year.
• Handle of any task within the scope of his work and assigned by CFO.

• Bachelor degree, preferably in business administration or other suitable field of study, is required
• experience in insurance and risk management.
• Good oral and written communication skills are required.
• Experience with MS-Office (especially Word and Excel) is required. 
• Prefer candidates who have experience with claims processing software.
• Must have significant claims experience and be able to manage people directly and fairly.
